Mexico - October 2024

MEXICO | International tourism up. On 10 October Mexico’s national statistics institute (Inegi) released its latest figures on tourism, showing that 3.45m foreign tourists visited the country in August 2024, up 6.6% year-on-year. However foreign exchange income from international tourism was down 0.4% year-on-year in August, standing at US$1.95bn.
