Mexico - September 2024

This September 2024 edition of the Latin American Regional Report: Mexico starts by looking at the mystery surrounding the arrest of two alleged leaders of the Sinaloa drug trafficking organisation (DTO) in the US at the end of July. Mexican authorities are attempting to get to grips with exactly what happened that day and how the DTO leaders ended up in US custody seemingly without any cooperation with authorities south of the border.
