MEXICO: Reform of the judiciary ready to be signed into law
On 12 September, following rapid approval by a number of state legislatures, Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said he will sign his controversial constitutional reform of the judiciary into law on 15 September, which is also the eve of Mexican Independence Day (El Grito de Independencia).
