EL SALVADOR: NGOs launch registry of disappeared
A group of Salvadorean human rights organisations have launched a registry of disappeared persons. The tool is intended to help families with relatives who have disappeared, an issue which has continued amid more general concerns regarding the ongoing state of exception declared in late March 2022 by the authoritarian President Nayib Bukele, to tackle gangs.
