*Colombia’s national statistics department (Dane) has released its industrial production index (IPI) for June, which showed a decline of 4.0% compared with June 2023. The overall drop was influenced by a 4.8% decline in manufacturing, a 4.8% decline in mining and quarrying, and a 1.1% decline in the storage, treatment, and distribution of water. The only category which rose was the supply of electricity and gas, which increased by 0.2%.
