*Colombia’s national statistics department (Dane) has released the consumer price index for June, showing monthly inflation of 0.32% – down from 0.43% in May. This brought annual inflation in June to 7.18%, up slightly on the 7.16% that was registered in May. The steepest monthly price rises were in the categories of housing, water, electricity & gas (+0.58%), healthcare (+0.49%), restaurants & hotels (+0.39%), and food & non-alcoholic drinks (+0.30%). The only category which registered monthly deflation was education (-0.18%).
