MEXICO: Sheinbaum names more key ministers
Mexico’s President-elect Claudia Sheinbaum revealed five more members of her incoming cabinet on 27 June, adding to the seven already confirmed [WR-24-25]. In keeping with the previous announcement, the picks indicate that Sheinbaum is striking a fine balance between figures loyal to her and those who represent continuity with the administration of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. As with the first tranche of cabinet ministers, the latest picks have been broadly welcomed for their political experience and technical expertise.
