CHILE: Boric takes centre stage at peace summit
On 16 June Chile’s President Gabriel Boric delivered a statement at the global peace summit in Switzerland during which he expressed his hope that Russia and Ukraine would “soon engage in dialogue” but also his conviction that respect for international law and human rights should trump any geopolitical alignments or ideological beliefs.
