*Uruguay’s national statistics institute (INE) has released new figures which show monthly inflation in May was 0.40%, bringing the annual rate to 4.10%. This is down from monthly inflation of 0.63% in April when the annual rate was 3.68% but up from 0.02% monthly inflation in March when the annual rate was 3.80%.
