In mid 2023 the EU approved a Deforestation Regulation, known as EUDR. It applies to imports of seven main commodities: cattle, cocoa, coffee, palm-oil, rubber, soya, and wood, as well as other related products that have been made or fed with such commodities (likely including beef, charcoal, chocolate, leather, and printed paper products).
