*Mexico’s umbrella business association Consejo Coordinador Empresarial (CCE) has issued a statement congratulating Claudia Sheinbaum on her victory in 2 June’s presidential elections. Sheinbaum won the presidency by a landslide, obtaining between 58.3%-60.7% of the vote, according to preliminary results. The CCE reiterated its commitment to the development of Mexico and stated it would work with Sheinbaum and other elected authorities to “continue building a strong economy and boost the growth of our country, generating investment and jobs in favour of Mexican families”.
