Francos emerges as top negotiator in Argentina

In a ministerial reshuffle announced by Argentina’s President Javier Milei on 27 May, Interior Minister Guillermo Francos became the new cabinet chief, replacing Nicolás Posse. The changes – with some further movements yet to be finalised – suggest that Francos is being set up as the government’s key negotiator with opposition parties in congress.
