*A commission in Colombia’s lower chamber of congress has voted to approve a pension reform bill submitted by President Gustavo Petro’s government, which will pass into law if it is approved by the lower chamber in a plenary debate. The reform bill cleared the senate last month. The final debate on the reform is due to be held within the next two weeks.
