MEXICO: Final presidential debate tackles security
Security was the focus of the third and final debate between Mexico’s presidential candidates, which took place on 19 May. This was the last chance for the three candidates to debate their respective policy proposals prior to the 2 June vote. Despite the issues of violence and organised crime having dominated the campaigns, few concrete or novel proposals were put forward.
