*Bolivia’s national statistics institute (INE) has announced that the country’s GDP grew by 3.08% in 2023. This was down from 3.61% growth in 2022. President Luis Arce claimed that Bolivia’s GDP growth in 2023 was the second largest in South America after Paraguay, and that it had exceeded the 1.8% growth forecast of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
