Peru’s President Dina Boluarte has carried out three cabinet reshuffles in as many months. The latest shakeup on 1 April saw six ministers replaced, including the interior minister, Víctor Torres, and the production minister, Ana María Choquehuanca. This followed the replacement of the prime minister, Alberto Otárola, in March, which came hot on the heels of yet another reshuffle in February, when four ministers were fired including the finance minister, Álex Contreras. The new cabinet, led by Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzén, will now be hoping for a period of relative stability after it comfortably won a confidence vote in congress on 3 April.End of preview - This article contains approximately 1159 words.
