*The deputy director of economic studies for Honduras’ central bank (BCH), Juan Adolfo Matamoros, has said that the bank, in its 2024-2025 monetary programme, is forecasting annual GDP growth of 3.5%-4.5% in both 2024 and 2025. He also said that the BCH expects that year-end inflation in both years will be between 4% and 5%, which is within the bank’s target range of 4.0% +/- 1.0.
