*The president of Bolivia’s state-owned hydrocarbons company Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB), Armin Dorgathen, has said that in 2023 sales of natural gas to Brazil, Argentina and the domestic market totalled US$2.37bn. This was down from US$3.4bn in 2022. Dorgathen said that gas sales to Brazil in 2023 totalled US$1.35bn, down from US$1.56bn in 2022. Gas sales to Argentina totalled US$875m, down from US$1.69bn in 2022. Sales on the domestic market totalled US$151m.
