EL SALVADOR: Bukele’s party claims seats in legislative vote recount
On 15 February Nuevas Ideas (NI), the party of El Salvador’s Nayib Bukele who won re-election in the 4 February presidential vote, announced some victories following a recount of votes from the concurrent legislative elections which has yet to be concluded.
