*Colombia’s national statistics department (Dane) has announced that the country’s industrial production fell by 3.2% in December compared with the same month in 2022. This was due to a 6.8% year-on-year decline in industrial manufacturing, which offset increases in the capture, treatment & distribution of water (+3.1%), mining & quarrying (+2.7%), and the provision of electricity & gas (+4.2%).
