* Argentina’s economy ministry has placed bonds on the domestic market totalling Ar$1.35trn (US$1.63bn). The bond placement consisted of peso-denominated bonds maturing in June 2026 and June 2027. However, the auction for another peso-denominated bond, maturing in June 2028, was declared void. This follows a placement of bonds totalling Ar$3.99trn on the domestic market on 16 January.
