Development: On 24 October Colombia’s President Juan Manuel Santos announced that government representatives had travelled to Havana, Cuba, to meet with leaders from the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (Farc) insurgent guerrilla group to discuss with them the amendment proposals presented by the political forces that rejected the peace deal that the government and the Farc reached earlier this year.
