Conviction of former intelligence chief rocks Colombian politics

Development: On 30 April Colombia’s supreme court (CSJ) convicted María del Pilar Hurtado, the head of the country’s defunct intelligence agency (DAS, 2007-2009) to 14 years in prison for her involvement in the infamous ‘chuzadas’ illegal spying case.
