Farc denies alliance with Bacrim

Development: On 21 September the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (Farc) guerrilla group assumed responsibility for an ambush which took place in the northern department of Córdoba last week which claimed the lives of seven Carabineros police officers and injured as many, but forcefully denied any alliance with Clan Úsuga, an emerging criminal organization (Bacrim) that operates in the area.
