Development: On 5 April it was 14 years since former president Alberto Fujimori's autogolpe, which suspended the 1979 constitution and dissolved congress before drafting a new constitution adopting a unicameral system. Fujimori chose to remember this day by getting married to his Japanese girlfriend Satomi Kataoka; his representatives filed a marriage registration in Tokyo.
