*Colombia’s national statistics department (Dane) has released the latest consumer price index, which put monthly inflation in February at 1.09% – up from 0.92% in January. This brought annual inflation to 7.74%, which was down from 8.35% in January. The steepest monthly price rises in February were in the categories of education (+8.74%), alcoholic drinks & tobacco (+1.13%), restaurants & hotels (+1.13%), and housing, water, electricity & gas (+1.07%).
