*Mexico’s central bank (Banxico) has released new figures which show the country received remittances totalling US$4.58bn in January 2024, up 3.1% year-on-year. However, the total was down 1.8% as compared to the previous month. Last year, Mexico received a record US$63.31bn in remittances.
