GUATEMALA: Arévalo leaps ahead in opinion poll
On 2 August an opinion poll published by CID Gallup for Fundación Libertad y Desarrollo showed that Guatemala’s anti-corruption candidate Bernardo Arévalo was leading the race to win the second-round presidential ballot due on 20 August, with the support of 63% of voters.
