This continues a trend of decelerating monthly inflation since April, with August seeing the lowest monthly price increases since July 2020. Monthly inflation was highest in the education (4.2%) and health (4.2%) sectors, while the smallest price increase was in housing, water, electricity, gas & other fuels (1.1%).
