* Mexico’s central bank (Banxico) has published its July survey on the expectations of private sector economists, which shows that Mexico’s GDP is now forecast to grow 6.06% this year. The forecast is based on the average of predictions by 37 national and foreign economic experts and consultants surveyed by Banxico in the latter part of July. Their latest GDP forecast is up from an average prediction of 5.80% growth in Banxico’s June survey. Meanwhile, forecasts for inflation have also risen, with inflation now expected to close the year at 5.94%, up from predictions of 5.58% in June.
