VENEZUELA: Maduro gov’t loses appeal to prevent ICC human rights investigation
On 5 July the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague announced that it had rejected an appeal by Venezuela’s de facto government led by Nicolás Maduro that had sought to prevent an ICC investigation into human rights violations in Venezuela.
