BRAZIL: Araújo points the finger at Pazuello for Covid errors

On 18 May, while speaking before the Brazilian senate inquiry commission (CPI) which is investigating the government led by President Jair Bolsonaro’s mishandling of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, former foreign minister Ernesto Araújo (2019-2021) sought to distance himself from any responsibility for potential mistakes committed by the foreign ministry on his watch, instead pointing the finger at the health ministry.
