ARGENTINA: IMF legislation approved by congress

On 11 February Argentina’s federal chamber of deputies gave final approval to a bill that stipulates that the federal executive must obtain congressional approval for contracting any foreign currency denominated debt outside of that set in the budget, including financing from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
