Five months since taking office for a second term in March, Chile’s President Sebastián Piñera has carried out his first cabinet reshuffle, which saw changes in the education, environment, and culture portfolios. The key change was in education where Minister Gerardo Varela was replaced with environment minister Marcela Cubillos.
