* Brazil’s national civil aviation agency (Anac), the sector’s regulatory body, has announced that it has granted Norwegian Air Shuttle a licence to operate flights between Brazil and Europe. Norwegian, Europe’s third largest low-cost airline, is the first low-cost airline to receive a licence to operate in Brazil and it is expected that other firms will now seek to follow suit.
