* Mexico’s Grupo GEPP, the distributor of the beverage Pepsi, has announced the temporary closure of its distribution centre in Ciudad Altamirano, Guerrero state, for security reasons. Pepsi has been present in Tierra Caliente region for more than 30 years. Last month Mexican dairy company Grupo Lala announced the temporary closure of its distribution centre in Ciudad Mante, a city in Tamaulipas state, citing the “lack of security conditions to maintain its operation”.
