Cuba: Cuba’s President Miguel Díaz-Canel has convened a special session of Cuba's parliament that saw legislators approve the creation of a commission tasked with drafting a new constitution. Led by former president Raúl Castro (2008-2018), the 33-member commission has yet to release details about proposed changes to the 1976 constitution. However, the international media is reporting that it could include changes such as new provisions which would limit presidents to two five-year terms while another possible change could regulate private property in a limited way.
