Ecuador/Peru: Ecuador’s state-owned oil company Petroecuador has signed an agreement with its Peruvian counterpart, Petroperú, to supply 360,000 barrels of Oriente crude on a monthly basis. This is the first time a contract of this nature has been signed by the two companies. A press release by Petroecuador notes that the contract is for it company to supply a total volume of 2.88m barrels of Oriente crude in eight shipments of 360,000 barrels.
