* Brazil’s federal police have asked the supreme court (STF) to extend for another 60 days their investigation into President Michel Temer about alleged irregularities in a ports decree to benefit local logistics companies. This requires the approval of STF justice Luís Roberto Barroso and Brazil’s attorney general Raquel Dodge. The investigation has already been extended once before, after which prosecutors were given full access to Temer’s bank accounts.
