Argentina progresses on pro-market reforms, but more must be done

Mention Argentina, and two things come to mind: potential and volatility. This is not surprising. Argentina has muddled through economic and political crises for nearly a century, all after ranking as a leading world economy from the late 1800s to 1930. That bygone might was based, in part, on what is reviving the thoughts of promise today: vast natural resources, an educated workforce and a large middle class.
