Argentina: Argentina’s labour ministry has issued a resolution authorising a new local airline company, Polar Airlines, for passenger, cargo, and mail transport activities. Issued on 9 April, the resolution approves Polar Airlines for both domestic and international flights for a period of 15 years, provided that the company meets a number of requirements set by the national civil aviation administration (Anac), such as approval of aircraft design, safety regulation, and prices. The airline must now obtain a certificate for air service operations within one year and begin service within 180 days of approval of the certificate.
