Argentina: President Mauricio Macri has signed an emergency decree to cut economic red tape. The decree introduces 170 changes to simplify existing regulations. This could attract greater investment, reducing the cost of doing business by US$1bn over the next two years according to the government. “We are looking to reduce the number of hoops companies have to jump through to operate in this country, [to] become more efficient and save time,” Production Minister Francisco Cabrera explained.
