Race to become head of CDMX gov’t intensifies with new powers at stake

On 1 July, the residents of Mexico City will vote for a successor to the head of it’s of government, Miguel Ángel Mancera. The winning candidate shall become the new governor of the federal district in its latest incarnation as a newly-ordained state-like entity.
