Mayor to be quizzed by Mexico City legislature over suspected criminal links

Development: On 27 July, the head of the government commission in Mexico City’s legislative assembly (ALDF), Leonel Luna Estrada, confirmed that the mayor of the Mexico City (CDMX) municipality of Tláhuac, Rigoberto Salgado, has been summoned to appear before the ALDF on 2 August to face questions over the allegations that he has links to local criminal groups.
