Chile: The economy, development & tourism ministry has released new figures which show that 3.3m foreign tourists visited Chile in the first half of 2017, up 17.9% on the same period in 2016. The ministry is now forecasting that 6.7m tourists will visit the country this year, up from its previous forecast of 6.4m.
