Guyana: Another fire highlights Guyana prison crisis

Fourteen months after inmates at Georgetown’s Camp Street prison caused a fire in which 17 inmates died, on 9 July the same prison suffered another major fire, highlighting once again the poor conditions and overcrowding in Guyana’s prisons.
