Argentina: Argentina’s consumer price index (CPI) was up 1.2% in June, compared with the previous month, bringing the accumulated inflation rate for the first six months of the year to 11.8%, according to the latest inflation figures released by the national statistics institute (Indec).

Argentina: An Argentine federal court has suspended activities at the giant Alumbrera gold and copper mine in the north-western province of Catamarca.
