* The Mexican Auto Industry Association (AMIA) has released figures which show that Mexican automobile factories produced 334,606 vehicles in June 2017, up 4.9% on the same month in 2016. This brings the total number of vehicles produced in the first six months of 2017 to 1.8m, up 12.6% on the same period the previous year. Meanwhile 276,626 vehicles were exported in June 2017, up 12.0% on the same month in 2016, while a total of 1.5m vehicles were exported in the first six months of 2016, up 14.0% on the same period in 2016.
