*The foreign ministry (SRE) has reported that Mexican and Guatemalan government officials, led by SRE head Luis Videgaray Caso and his Guatemalan counterpart Carlos Raúl Morales Moscoso, held a meeting in Mexico City to discuss the bilateral energy sharing agenda. The bilateral energy sharing agenda aims to improve energy sector integration and cooperation between the two countries that share a 960km land border. According to an SRE statement, during the meeting the officials discussed issues related to advancing integration in the electricity and hydrocarbons energy sub-sectors.
