Argentina: The Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) has announced that it will provide Argentina with US$220m in funding for two infrastructure development projects. The first tranche of the funding will come in the form of a US$120m credit line to repair damage from flooding caused by the overflowing of the Luján River in the province of Buenos Aires. The second tranche is a US$100m credit line that will be used to finance public-private infrastructure investment projects. The bank also reported that it signed a US$163m loan agreement with Argentina to develop and strengthen the country’s energy and tourism sectors.
